**There is no refund of processing fee. The processing company collects this fee and Health Department has no control in case of any refunds.

Important Note:
Permits for facilities with a Health Department permit are not transferrable to different owners. A change of ownership for a permitted facility requires the new owner to obtain a new permit from the Health Department. To avoid citations or closure for operating without a valid permit, the new owner of a facility with a Health Department permit should begin the change of ownership process prior to taking over the business.
